As I have recorded at great length, the cycling of Imps to Demons and back again is an often observed phenomenon. Their existence in a sort of “transition state,” however, is rarely seen. These Imps, almost Demons, exhibit reserved behavior and a sort of misplaced confidence that I’ve only seen in human adolescents on their way to adulthood. I can understand the Hellhorned’s hesitance to make these Imps known...

Suggested Unit Essences (The Last Divinity (DLC) only)
Any Unit Essence that provides Armor is great, such as Railbeater, Steelworker, Welder Helper, Guard of the Unnamed, Guardian Stone, and Shardsoul Carver. Since Apex Imp will be you main damage dealer, it also works well with units who provide Multistrike, such as Horned Warrior, Animus of Will, and Dante the Deceptive. Other units that provide Multistrike such as Eel Gorgon, Alloyed Construct, and Draff are situationally useful if you have other cards and/or Artifacts to support Apex Imp.
