Herzal's Hoard.png

Artifacts provide passive bonuses during a run.

Most artifacts may be obtained from Herzal's Hoard, purchased from a Merchant of Trinkets, or won from a Trial on Ring 4 or 5. Other artifacts are instead obtained from Concealed Caverns events or chosen after a major boss battle in Ring 3 and Ring 6.

Both Herzal's Hoard and the Trial reward offer two artifacts from which to choose, and a "Skip" option that gives 25Gold.

There are 129 artifacts, (not including Divine artifacts).

Divine Artifacts[]

Divine Artifacts are Artifacts with typically twice the power, but removes themselves after 1 battle. They can be found in a specific Event, that can randomly (random roll at the start of the run) appear after a combat.

The Last Divinity’s grasp on our realm is slipping, so the Wurmkin claim. Yet, if endangered, the Divinity will collapse time upon itself, creating a sort of infinite cycle of defeat. We’ve faced Divinities before, but I cannot comprehend defeating a Being whose strength at its weakest can still warp the flow of time on a whim.
