Artifacts provide passive bonuses during a run.

Most artifacts may be obtained from Herzal's Hoard, purchased from a Merchant of Trinkets, or won from a Trial on Ring 4 or 5. Other artifacts are instead obtained from Concealed Caverns events.

Both Herzal's Hoard and the Trial reward offer two artifacts from which to choose, and a "Skip" option that gives 25Gold.
