Glugsider is a Banner Unit of the Wurmkin Clan Wurmkin.png.

Lore[]

These sludge behemoths have crawled through the Bogs for eons, absorbing and digesting whatever remained trapped. I pride myself on being observant, so imagine the sting to my ego when I found these piles of filth feign stupidity to keep the Wurmkin and their cairns hidden.

Strategy[]

Caution is advised when drafting this unit as it is it is a Priority Unit, which means it will frequently be drawn on Turn 1 when you may not have enough Charged Echos to extract. This results in you not being able to play it until much later in the fight and potentially depriving you of another Priority Unit that you would have drawn and been able to play.

Suggested Upgrades[]

Upgrade Description
Upgrade Unit Largestone.png A Largestone will make Glugslider stay alive even longer for more reaping, and also give it some attack. It will often be able to attack many times before its health is consumed, meaning even small attack values are beneficial for defeating bosses during Relentless.
Upgrade Unit Strengthstone.png It will often be able to attack many times before its health is consumed, meaning even small attack values, like those from a basic Strengthstone, are beneficial for defeating bosses during Relentless.
Upgrade Unit Thornstone.png Glugslider will survive many attacks, so spikes from Thornstone will cause a lot of damage once the boss goes Relentless.
Upgrade Unit Heaven's Aid.png Upgrade Unit Heaven's Finest.png Heaven's Aid and Heaven's finest sometimes a revenge trigger granting Attack value.
Upgrade Unit Minor Refraction.png Upgrade Unit Heph's Consolation.png Glugslider is a large unit with a lot of health. Shrinking it down with a Minor Refrection or Heph's Consolation will allow units behind it to attack safely.
