Melting Spout is an Artifact of the Melting Remnant Clan Melting Remnant in Monster Train.

Lore[]

Only the wealthiest of Waxers can afford the portable melting pot I created to allow on-demand wax guttering. Out of charity, unfortunate Tombs are given a spout by the Reformed so they can survive.

Strategy[]

With Melting Spout, this lets you use your Tomb units to absorb a good chunk of damage while also ensuring they die on the same turn when first summoned. This can come in handy for triggering its Extinguish effect on floors with no enemies. However, both its bonuses an be detrimental over time if you plan on Reforming them regularly. The Burnout 1 extends the time it takes for it to be destroyed each time it's Reformed, and the extra 30Health means it may not die on the turn you place them.

Therefore, though this artifact looks like it synergizes with Tomb-based decks, it actually becomes more counterintuitive if you don't use it properly. It's better to take this artifact if your deck doesn't rely on Extinguishing Tombs.
