Primitive Mold is a Melting Remnant Clan Melting Remnant Card in the Exile Crown2 Starter Deck. You begin with 3-5 of them depending on your Covenant Rank.

Lore[]

Fade brought me to the site of a rock split in two. The shape reminded me of the molds used by the Melting Remnant, and the drips of wax made this theory more plausible. Fade says she split the rock because she was bored, but her subsequent silence seems to suggest a more altruistic purpose. Why are they showing me these things?

Strategy[]

For decks that do not want to Reform all of their units that die, or do not plan on having units die, Primitive Mold should ideally be purged later in the run - no upgrade makes it worth having if it doesn't fit the deck.

Suggested Upgrades[]

Upgrade Description
Upgrade Spell Emberstone Emberstone can be as good on Primitive Mold as most other cards for decks that Reform Units often. Primitive Mold is better the more often it is used, as its random nature is mitigated if there's only one or two units to Reform.
Upgrade Spell Keepstone Keepstone can be good on Primitive Mold for decks making heavy use of Reform, since Primitive Mold can be quite consistent if you draw it as often as units die. There are probably better targets for the Keepstone even in those decks, but it's worth mentioning if you're in a pinch.
