Scorched Steel is an Artifact of the Hellhorned

Lore[]
Steel hammered in the heat of the Scorched Plains is easily recognized by its banding. After the freeze, the steel became in short supply, but I've still been able to stockpile a small amount for defensive enhancements.
Strategy[]
Scorched Steel gives all units Armor 5, boosting their longevity.
Scorched Steel is very similar to Hammered Chestplates, and just like it, Scorched Steel works well with frail backline units like Branded Warrior and Horned Warrior, helping them survive more Spikes and Sweep. Scorched Steel is often slightly better than Hammered Chestplates for Hellhorned runs, as it has a few interactions with things like Battering Ram and Fortify, making them better on turn 1, and it helps Apex Imp (The Last Divinity (DLC)) with an initial attack boost as well.
Scorched Steel is overall a solid medium-impact relic that also has a few synergies with cards that appreciate consistent Armor application, as it ensures that Armor will be available from the start of the match.
