Uniting the Rings of Hell to construct the Rail was no easy task, but after years of work I was finally able to achieve what was once thought impossible by having the clans from each Ring all agree to this pact.

The First Hellpact causes 
-Cost cards (list here), when played, to behave as if 3
more was spent on them, amplifying their effects significantly.
The First Hellpact is a situational Artifact, as it does nothing when no -Cost cards are in your deck. However, many -Cost cards become a lot more powerful with this Artifact. If you have any -Cost cards in your deck, this is likely to be a very high-impact Artifact.
It can be worth speculatively taking if you are playing the Umbra clan, as that clan's card pool contains far more -Cost cards than the other clans, or are the Awoken clan and are hoping for the Awoken's Rail Spike, as that card becomes game-breakingly powerful with this Artifact, easily leading to Infinites.
Several Concealed Caverns events offer unique Clanless -Cost cards as well.
